Our heartfelt thanks go out to each of you who stood with us in 2025 and helped make this one of our most incredible years yet! Whether you traveled with us in person or supported the work faithfully through prayer, your partnership has brought immeasurable encouragement—not only to our team, but to our precious brothers and sisters in Mbale, Uganda.
This past year has been an amazing journey of learning, leaning, loving, and longing as God has blessed the ministry work in Mbale beyond measure. We experienced seasons of joy, triumph, challenge, and growth. We learned that God’s ways are not always our ways. We leaned fully on His sovereignty during times of uncertainty. We loved watching God pour out His boundless provision on the work He has invited us to join Him in. And we are longing for even more opportunities to share the love of Christ in Uganda in 2026.
As we begin our thirteenth year of serving alongside the beautiful Kingdom warriors in Mbale, we covet your prayers…for courage and strength to press on, for faith to continue trusting Him, and for an unshakable joy in all He has ahead… All For God’s Glory!
New Praise
One of our greatest praises this year is that we averaged one new child sponsorship every week, ending 2025 with 57 newly sponsored children. To God be all the glory!
Child Sponsorship remains the heart and soul of Mission Mbale—there is truly no greater way to transform a child’s life! If you have not yet experienced the joy of sponsorship, we encourage you to pray about allowing God to use you as His vessel to bring hope and a future to a child in Mbale through the love of Jesus in 2026. Our prayer is to add 100+ new sponsorships in the coming year! Transforming lives…One Child At A Time!!!

Celebration
We also celebrated God’s goodness as construction began on the large multi-purpose building at Ebenezer Christian School. While not yet complete, this 45’ x 90’ facility is already being used as:
A dining hall
A study hall and gathering space for 350 students
A worship center for a growing church with over 200 weekly attendees—many of whom are Muslim converts from the surrounding village

Welcome Eric Marston to the
Mission Mbale Board of Directors!
Eric is a passionate pastor, husband, father, and leader. The Marston family has been a longtime ministry partner and are faithful supporters of Mission Mbale. Eric is married to Maria, and together with their three daughters, they enjoy serving in the mission field and sharing the love and Gospel of Jesus at every opportunity. They have all served in Mbale many times!
PRAISE GOD…2026 is shaping up to be one of our busiest and best years yet!
In 2025, we carried mission teams in March and July, witnessing God move powerfully through village prayer walks, home Bible studies, sports outreach, Pastor and Pastor Wives Training Seminars, and other evangelistic efforts. During those two weeks on the ground, there were over 100 professions of faith and approximately 75 baptisms—praise God!
In 2026, we will host three ministry teams to Mbale:
April 16–25: Partnering with Impact Ministries to host a discipleship training conference for approximately 100 key leaders and pastors to be hosted at Ebenezer Christian School
July 13–24: A large family and youth mission trip, Community ministry with ECS students and staff
October 12-23: Pastor and Pastor Wives Conferences to further equip leaders to serve their communities; Community Bible Studies; Prayer Walks and sharing the Gospel
